TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia’s state-owned tourism area developer, InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), has launched integrated travel packages for the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia to streamline the experience for global and domestic motorsport fans.

The bundling program combines race tickets, hotel accommodations, flights, airport hospitality, and logistics into a single purchase, aiming to provide a seamless travel experience for tourists visiting the island of Lombok.

"MotoGP is not just a motorsport event, but an economic driver capable of increasing tourist arrivals, extending the length of stays, and boosting tourism spending in Mandalika and Lombok," ITDC Operations Director Troy Warokka said on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Four package options have been on the market for domestic tourists since August 5, starting at around Rp5 million (approximately US$282) per person.

Several packages have also been prepared for international travelers. One of the packages covers a four-day, three-night trip and includes hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, Regular Grandstand ticket, airport transfers, circuit transfers, and dedicated host assistance, starting at US$460.

The race is scheduled to take place from October 9–11 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara Province.

"We hope MotoGP will continue to grow in Indonesia and deliver an extraordinary economic impact," Warokka, who also chairs the 2026 event, said.

He noted that the previous year's race generated Rp4.9 trillion ($276.6 million) for the local economy. Beyond direct revenue, the international broadcast of the race brings significant benefits to Indonesia's global branding and regional development, he added.

Presale tickets for the 2026 race are available online at themandalikagp.com or the GOERS application until September 16, with individual ticket prices ranging from Rp320,000 ($18) for regular grandstand seats up to Rp13.5 million ($762) for VIP Hospitality Deluxe Class.
