TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) raided the offices of property developer Summarecon Agung as part of an investigation into alleged land certificate bribery within the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). The operation was carried out in East Jakarta on Friday, September 18, 2026.
"This is a forced search effort conducted during the initial stage of investigation into this case," KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said in a written statement on Friday.
According to him, the search aimed to gather additional evidence following a sting operation across Greater Jakarta on Monday, September 14, 2026. However, he stopped short of detailing what items were seized from Summarecon’s office during the operation.
According to Budi, the search remains underway. “The raid, which began around 10:00 a.m., continues into this afternoon,” he said.
Prior to searching Summarecon, KPK investigators raided three offices inside the Ministry of ATR/BPN headquarters on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The searches targeted offices belonging to the Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement (PPTR), the Director General of Survey and Spatial Mapping (SPPR), and the Director General of Land Rights Determination and Registration (PHPT).
"Regarding the evidence seized by investigators during today's search, it includes several documents and electronic devices," Budi said.
Budi explained that the seized materials pertain to administrative service procedures within the Ministry of ATR/BPN. Investigators will extract, review, and analyze the data to piece together the bribery scheme.
The anti-graft agency has named eight suspects in the bribery case. They include Director General of PPTR Lampri, Head of the Bogor Land Office Sontang Coin Manurung, Summarecon Agung President Director Adrianto Pitoyo Adhi, private businessman Rizal Pahlevi, and four associates of ATR/BPN Minister Nusron Wahid: Arif Sugiyanto, Fahd El Fouz (also known as Fahd A. Rafiq), Muhammad Fakhry, and Erwin.
Rulli Lazuardi, Corporate Communications for Summarecon Agung, stated that the company respects the KPK's ongoing legal proceedings. Rulli affirmed Summarecon’s willingness to cooperate with KPK investigators handling the probe. “We are ready to collaborate with all parties in accordance with applicable regulations so this legal process can be resolved properly,” Rulli told Tempo when contacted on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Deputy ATR/BPN Minister Ossy Dermawan stated that the ministry is fully prepared to assist the KPK’s anti-corruption investigation. This includes cooperating with probes targeting several ministry officials ensnared in the KPK's sting operation.
Ossy added that the ministry is also prepared to collaborate on the ongoing investigation into alleged bribery linked to Building Rights Title (SHGB) permits. “The Ministry of ATR/BPN respects legal enforcement steps taken by the Corruption Eradication Commission and other law enforcement agencies,” Ossy said as reported by Antara on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
