TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - During the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, Indonesia's Pertamina Patra Niaga is preparing various promos through the MyPertamina application to support the mobility and needs of the community. The Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga for the Central Java region, Taufiq Kurniawan, stated that the promos will be available when purchasing fuel, buying Bright Gas, and enjoying year-end holidays.
Some of the promos offered by Pertamina include cashback of up to 20 percent for purchasing Pertamax Series and Dex Series through the MyPertamina app, double loyalty points that can be exchanged for vouchers or merchandise, flash sales, and discount vouchers for daily non-subsidized fuel transactions. Pertamina has also prepared a special redemption program for MyPertamina merchant products.
For Bright Gas specifically, Pertamina predicts an increase in demand by the end of the year as many families celebrate the new year by cooking or barbecuing together. Pertamina is offering cashback of up to Rp25,000 for refilling 5.5-kilogram and 12-kilogram Bright Gas with a minimum transaction of Rp90,000 through MyPertamina-LinkAja, including additional points that can be exchanged for various benefits.
"We have prepared these promos so that the community's holiday travels can be more economical and comfortable, with quick digital transactions at gas stations," Taufiq said in a written statement as quoted from Antara.
In addition, there are Patra Jasa Hotel networks owned by the Pertamina Group in Semarang and Yogyakarta that provide year-end promos, ranging from up to 25 percent off for overnight stays, Family Holiday packages including family breakfast, early bird promos, and New Year's Eve Gala Dinner packages.
In addition to ensuring safe energy supply throughout the tourism routes of Central Java and Yogyakarta, Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared 24-hour standby gas stations, Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) 135, and Serambi MyPertamina as rest areas to reduce the risk of accidents.
"We want to ensure that the community can celebrate Christmas and New Year safely and comfortably. Use MyPertamina for more convenient and profitable transactions," Taufiq said.
Prior to this, the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, ensured that the supply of fuel and LPG for Nataru is in a safe condition. The company continues to increase stocks and strengthen distribution fleets to anticipate the surge in consumption. "We ensure the availability of fuel and LPG for the community during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. We continuously increase our stocks to ensure optimal service," he said at the end of November.
Pertamina also strengthens the distribution network from depots to gas stations. Additional fleet of ships has also been prepared to ensure smooth supply between islands. In addition, 346 additional tank trucks will operate complete with reserve personnel. "The company has also prepared pocket tank trucks in certain areas to speed up fueling at gas stations without having to return to the terminal," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPH Migas, Wahyudin Anas, stated that the readiness of Pertalite stock until the end of December is projected to reach 90.43 percent of the national quota of 31.13 million kiloliters, hence there is still a reserve of 9.57 percent. For Bio Solar, the supply realization has reached 98.14 percent of the requirements, and kerosene is still available at 2.94 percent for areas that have not switched to LPG.
Wahyudin added that the increase in national stock to 20.2 days on November 23 shows the readiness of distribution ahead of the peak of community mobility. "We ensure that the national stock is very safe. Pertamina, along with all stakeholders, continues to monitor daily," he said.
