TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - One of the habits of travelers when traveling is to get the best photos at iconic tourist attractions. Of course, they want to keep them as memories or share them on social media. However, getting the best photos at popular tourist spots can be quite difficult.

Iconic tourist attractions like the Eiffel Tower, Trevi Fountain, or Times Square are often crowded with tourists. It can take a long time to get a good photo because other tourists are rushing by. These include the Taj Mahal, Mona Lisa, Colosseum, Buckingham Palace, the Great Wall of China, and Trevi Falls.

According to research initiated by Samsung to highlight the capabilities of the Galaxy AI on the S25 series, to get a good photo, 27 percent of travelers arrive earlier than 6 a.m. to avoid queues and get photos without crowds of other tourists. One in five tourists admitted to having queued for more than an hour for a photo at a particular location. The longest-serving location was the Taj Mahal in India.

Samsung representative Annika Bizon said everyone wants to return home with a photo that represents their trip to some of the world's most iconic places. "But capturing the perfect snap can sometimes be near impossible," she said, as reported by Express.

The study, which involved 2,000 adults, also found that more than four in ten (42 percent) said that perfect travel photos are a priority for social media. Unfortunately, getting the perfect photo can often be frustrating.

As many as 21 percent of respondents hated their photos filled with people in the background. In fact, 21 percent even tried to revisit iconic tourist attractions because they couldn't get a good enough photo on their first visit.

Meanwhile, 55 percent of travelers complained about the difficulty of manually removing random people from their photos. Annika Bizon said that with Galaxy AI features like Generative Edit, unwanted people can be removed with just one quick tap. This feature "help time-strapped travellers who would prefer not to have to wake up before 5 am to queue for a photo," she said.
