TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The latest data from the Directorate General of Taxes of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, reports that as of Monday morning, February 2, 2026, 1.15 million taxpayers (WP) had filed their Annual Income Tax Returns (SPT) for the 2025 tax year. At the same time, the number of taxpayers who had activated their Coretax accounts had reached 12.9 million.
DGT Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations, Rosmauli, stated that the progress of annual income tax returns (SPT) filings consisted of 988,381 individual employees and 117,655 non-employee individuals. Meanwhile, 44,030 corporate income tax returns were filed, and 69 were in US dollars.
This figure continues to grow. As of January 26, the total number of SPTs filed was only 631,000. "The progress of annual income tax returns (SPT) reporting for the period up to February 2, 2026 (2025 Tax Year), was recorded at 1,150,414," said Rosmauli in a written statement on Monday, February 2, 2026.
To file a tax return, taxpayers must have a Coretax account and KO/SE. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) previously explained that the deadline for activating a Coretax account and generating an Authorization Code/Electronic Certificate (KO/SE) must be met before the digital service can be used for reporting.
The deadline for filing annual SPTs for individuals is no later than three months after the end of the tax year, or March 31st, while the deadline for reporting for corporate taxpayers is April 30th.
To date, the number of taxpayers who have activated their Coretax accounts at the DGT has reached 12,917,027. This includes 11,966,137 individual taxpayers; 861,798 corporate taxpayers; 88,867 government agency taxpayers; and and 225 taxpayers trading via electronic systems (PMSE).
