TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) is still implementing a 20 percent toll fee discount until today, Monday, June 9, 2025. The toll fee reduction applies to all types of vehicles crossing the Trans Java Toll Road during the Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah holiday period.
"A 20 percent toll fee discount is still in effect," said VP Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in her statement in Cikampek, Karawang, West Java, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, as quoted from Antara.
The 20 percent toll fee discount program during the Eid al-Adha holiday period has been in effect since Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 00:00 WIB. Meanwhile, the discount will be applied until Monday at 24:00 WIB, as a form of stimulus to help road users save on travel expenses during the holiday.
Ria explained that the 20 percent toll fee discount is applicable to road users traveling from Jakarta or entering through the Cikampek Main Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road heading to Semarang via the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road, as well as the opposite direction.
In addition, a 20 percent toll fee discount is also applied to vehicles traveling continuously from the Kejapanan Main Toll Gate on the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road to the Singosari Toll Gate on the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road, and it is also valid in the opposite direction.
Ria emphasized that PT JTT continues to urge road users on the Trans Java Toll Road to prioritize safety, prepare themselves before embarking on the toll road journey. Not only that, road users are also required to ensure that they and their vehicles are in prime condition, have sufficient fuel, electronic money balance, and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field.
Previously, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded a total of 498,217 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area during the H-1 to H+1 period of the Idul Adha holiday on Thursday, June 5, 2025, to Saturday, June 7, 2025.
The figure represents the cumulative traffic flow from four Main Toll Gates, namely Cikupa Toll Gate (towards Merak), Ciawi Toll Gate (towards Puncak), and Cikampek Main Toll Gate (towards Trans Java), and Kalihurip Main Toll Gate (towards Bandung).
This was conveyed by Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head at Jasa Marga, Lisye Octaviana. She stated that the total traffic volume leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 17.8 percent compared to normal traffic.
Meanwhile, for the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek towards the three directions, the majority were 238,639 vehicles (47.9 percent) heading east (Trans Java and Bandung), 138,025 vehicles (27.7 percent) heading west (Merak), and 121,553 vehicles (24.4 percent) heading south (Puncak).
Traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java through the Cikampek Main Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road amounted to 115,575 vehicles, a 44.6 percent increase from normal traffic. As for traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Bandung through the Kalihurip Main Toll Gate on the Cipularang Toll Road, there were 123,064 vehicles, marking a 30.9 percent increase from normal traffic.
The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through these two toll gates reached 238,639 vehicles, a 37.2 percent increase from normal traffic. Meanwhile, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak through the Cikupa Toll Gate on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road amounted to 138,025 vehicles, down by 2.2 percent from normal traffic.
On the other hand, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek towards Puncak through the Ciawi Toll Gate on the Jagorawi Toll Road was 121,553 vehicles, a 12.8 percent increase from normal traffic. On the H+1 of the Eid al-adha holiday period (Saturday, June 7, 2025), traffic returning to Jabotabek at the four main toll gates once again showed an increase, with 144,112 vehicles recorded, a 12.2 percent increase from normal traffic (128,467 vehicles).
