TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The price of gold from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, or Antam gold, was recorded in today's trading, Thursday, February 5, 2026. Antam gold prices fell by Rp17,000 per gram today after a significant surge yesterday.
According to the Logam Mulia website, today's gold price is recorded at Rp2,956,000 per gram. On Wednesday morning, February 4, the price of gold jumped by Rp102,000 to Rp2,946,000, then rose again on Wednesday afternoon to Rp2,973,000 per gram.
Gold prices have been volatile since the end of January. Gold reached an all-time high of Rp3.16 million per gram on January 29, 2025. On January 31, 2026, the price of the precious metal plummeted by Rp260,000 per gram to Rp2.86 million. It then rebounded to Rp3.02 million on February 2, 2026. On February 3, the price of gold fell by Rp183,000.
The resale or buyback price of Antam gold bullion today fell by Rp17,000 to Rp2,720,000 per gram. Buyback transactions with a value above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to income tax (PPh 22) of 1.5 percent.
This regulation aligns with the Amendment to Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning Taxpayer Identification Numbers (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government agencies. This amendment also includes the use of the National Identification Number (NIK) as the NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total value of the sale or buyback transaction.
