TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Like the previous season, Single's Inferno 5 brought together single men and women on a remote island in South Korea. The unscripted Korean show, premiered on January 20, 2025, piqued the audience's interest not only for the salacious dating plot but also for its shooting locations, mainly limited to Incheon, South Korea.

Single's Inferno adopts the concept of Inferno and Paradise. During their time in Inferno, a small island, participants must survive with limited facilities and far from modern comforts. In order to leave that area, participants must find the right partner. They will then enjoy luxurious dates in Paradise.

The stark contrast between the two settings is clearly seen in the chosen venues. Like the previous season, the Inferno location is on Saseungbong-do Island. This uninhabited private island is located in Jawol-myeon, Ongjin, about an hour from Incheon.

The beautiful scenery, white sandy beaches, and clear waters make this island, also known as "Sado," an attraction in itself. According to Travel and Leisure, in addition to Single's Inferno, Sasengbong-do Island has also been used as a shooting location for the reality shows 2 Days & 1 Night and Running Man.

The show opts for INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon to illustrate wealth and luxury. According to information from their website, this resort is an integrated destination with various facilities, including a five-star hotel with unique designs in three towers.
