TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Arsenal secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup after a convincing 4-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in the fourth round at the Emirates Stadium in London on Monday morning, February 16, 2026. Several other teams, including Sunderland, Fulham, Leeds United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, also advanced to the next round after eliminating their respective opponents.
At the Emirates, Arsenal dominated the match from the first half. Noni Madueke opened the scoring in the 11th minute, taking advantage of Eberechi Eze's through ball. Eight minutes later, Eze played a key role in Gabriel Martinelli's second goal.
Arsenal's pressure continued. Gabriel Jesus' effort in the 23rd minute resulted in an own goal by Jack Hunt. Four minutes later, Jesus scored Arsenal's fourth goal after his shot was unstoppable by goalkeeper Sam Tickle. The 4-0 scoreline held until halftime and remained unchanged until the end of the match.
In the second half, Arsenal continued to dominate. Viktor Gyokeres hit the post, while Eze had another chance that went wide. This result takes the Gunners into the fifth round, scheduled for early March.
In another match, Sunderland beat Oxford United 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium. Habib Diarra scored the only goal from a penalty in the 32nd minute. Fulham also beat Stoke City 2-1. Stoke took the lead through Bae Jun-ho before Fulham turned the game around through goals from Kevin and Harrison Reed.
Meanwhile, Leeds United defeated Birmingham City 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes. Leeds took the lead through Lukas Nmecha, before Patrick Roberts equalized in the final minutes. In another match, Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Grimsby Town 1-0 to secure their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
