TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto is set to inaugurate several officials on Monday, April 27, 2026. As of Monday afternoon, several prospective members of the Red and White Cabinet had arrived at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta to participate in the inauguration process.
Among those in attendance were the Special Adviser to the President for National Defense, General (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman; Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari; and Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol.
Additionally, former Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi, former Minister of Migrant Worker Protection Abdul Kadir Karding, and labor union leader Jumhur Hidayat were also present.
Despite their appearance, the officials unanimously declined to disclose the specific positions they would assume following today’s ceremony. "I am here for an inauguration, but I do not yet know which one," said Jumhur, who is rumored to be the next Minister of Environment, upon arriving at the palace with his wife and children this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Qodari stated that he received his inauguration invitation from Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. "The President has asked me to assist in the communication process, to ensure the government’s work programs are communicated to the maximum," he noted. Qodari is widely speculated to be appointed as the head of the Indonesian Government Communication Bureau, a post currently held by Angga Raka Prabowo.
In a separate statement, Dudung mentioned that he had received specific guidance from Prabowo regarding duties at the Presidential Staff Office, which he is reportedly slated to lead after today's ceremony. "I will explain everything after being inaugurated," he said.
The former Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army emphasized his readiness for any assignment, stating, "I am a soldier; I must always be ready for the President's orders."
Furthermore, Hasan Nasbi, also present at the palace, is rumored to become the President’s Special Envoy for Communication. Abdul Kadir Karding is speculated to be appointed as the Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency, while Hanif Faisol Nurofiq is reportedly tipped to become the deputy minister for food coordination.
