TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated former Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Juda Agung, as the deputy minister of finance. Juda replaced Thomas Djiwandono, the former deputy minister of finance, who left his position to become Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia.
Juda's inauguration took place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, February 5, 2026. During the inauguration ceremony, Prabowo administered the oath of office to Juda.
"I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will uphold all legal regulations with all my dedication for the nation and state," said Prabowo, followed by Juda.
"In carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the office, work to the best of my ability, and with full responsibility," stated the oath of office.
Juda's appointment as Deputy Minister of Finance is based on Presidential Decree No. 3M of 2026 regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy Ministers of Finance in the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period. Several members of the Red and White Cabinet, including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, attended the inauguration of Juda.
In addition to inaugurating Juda, President Prabowo witnessed the swearing-in of Adies Kadir as a Constitutional Court judge at the Presidential Palace. Adies replaced a retired judge of the Constitutional Court, Arief Hidayat.
